Polls: Riding the Roller Coaster?

If you're like me, you probably read this morning's poll results and--even though we know we're supposed to take daily numbers with a grain of salt--felt your stomach rise up in your throat as it invariably does just at the crest of that big plunge down from the top of the roller coaster.
